On this performing arts tour of Tasmania, students have the opportunity to perform at Port Arthur, the Salamanca Markets and at a number of local schools where they’ll get to meet and interact with other students during performance workshops.

From ancient caves to coastal towns, students will make their way across the diverse landscapes of NSW uncovering the history of the Bathurst Goldfields and the Royal Flying Doctors Service. They’ll also visit Toboggan Hill Park and the Taronga Western Plains Zoo where they will enjoy an exciting overnight camping experience.  

Students make their way across the Blue Mountains as they enjoy stunning aerial views at Scenic World and explore geological formations at the Jenolan Caves. Students step back in time with visits to the Bathurst Goldfields and the NSW Mineral Museum, where they uncover rare collections of minerals and ancient dinosaur fossils.

Students will be immersed in the rich history of early colonial Australia. They’ll learn about the importance of gold mining and its impact on Australia as they explore the museum and interactive exhibits, meet with personalities from the past and get their hands dirty panning for gold.  

From the convict ruins of Port Arthur to the ancient caves and thermal pools of Hastings, on this tour students will get to explore Tasmania’s rich colonial history and stunning natural landscapes as well as experience exciting wildlife adventures at Tasmania’s Unzoo.
