WorldStrides was founded in 1967 by a school teacher from Chicago, USA. Now, 50 years later, WorldStrides boasts a team of over 750 professionals throughout the world, each with their own enthusiasm for education and travel.

Our work environment is filled with passionate people who work hard and have fun at the same time. From inter-departmental team lunches, team outings including community engagement events, WorldStrides offers an atmosphere that our employees love to return to work each day. Vittoria Barca

Destination Specialist

As a Destination Specialist, Vittoria ensures that each group enjoys the highest quality travel experience on their WorldStrides program. She prepares, manages, and analyzes every aspect of the final itinerary, keeping in constant communication with customers leading up to, during, and after the tour. Destination Specialists also maintain strong, positive relationships with vendors and suppliers, coordinating contracts and handling negotiations related to transportation and other travel arrangements.

Jason Johnston

Program Consultant

Jason works with teachers from around the country who are interested in educational travel. He helps teachers select the best destination and trip format for their WorldStrides program, supplies teachers with everything needed to run a successful program, and helps get students and parents excited about the trip. WorldStrides’ Program Consultants are passionate about enriching students’ lives through experiential travel and helping bring travel opportunities to teachers and students around the country.

Jenny McKay

Account Manager

As an Account Manager, Jenny works directly with teachers in the planning of their educational tour. Account Managers serve as the primary point person and develops long-term working relationships with schools and teachers to ensure they receive a seamless customer experience. Account Managers also assist throughout the planning process to ensure that the program is well-run and meets the educational and logistical needs of the group.

Shyamal Oza

Finance Manager

Shyamal manages audits, company tax returns along with month-end and year-end closes, creates timely and accurate financial reports and statements, provides variance analyses and maintains the highest ethical standards in the implementation of procedures and controls to safeguard company assets. The Finance Manager supports the mission of WorldStrides through careful analysis and verification of financial information, ensuring the most responsible and effective use of the company’s resources.
