The Greater Alps are an ever-changing dynamic environment that is perfect for learning at any time of year. This unit aims to assist teachers and students to investigate the Greater Alps during the Green Season.  The objectives of this unit are to:

• Provide high quality teaching resources for teachers
• Promote a multidisciplinary inquiry based approach to teaching within schools
• Promote the use of place specific outdoor learning as a pedagogical approach in schools
• Assist teacher to structure assessment that meets the Victorian Curriculum
