- U.S. Space & Rocket Center Space Camp: 6-Day Program The US Space Camp is hosted by the US Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama. During the program, trainees undergo hands-on drills, as well as learn about the mental and physical demands for astronauts, engineers and technologists. The neutral buoyancy of water provides the environment for micro-gravity exercises in the Underwater Astronaut Trainer, while the Multi-Axis Trainer and 1/6th gravity chair further challenge balance and movement

Want more? Extend your USA Space Camp tour to include stops in Florida and Washington D.C. where students will enjoy visits to two of the most iconic attractions related to space exploration, the Kennedy Space Center and the Smithsonian Air Museum. While in Washington. D.C students will also enjoy a guided city tour as well as visits to the White House, Capitol Hill, the Thomas Jefferson Memorial and the Washington Monument
The Kennedy Space Center in Orlando, Florida is the greatest space adventure on Earth! The Visitor Complex is the only place in the world where visitors can walk under the largest rocket ever flown, touch an actual moon rock, meet a veteran NASA astronaut, experience the International Space Station and stand nose-to-nose with Atlantis, all in the same day.
The Smithsonian Air and Space Museum in Washington D.C. holds the largest collection of historic aircraft and spacecraft in the world, and is the center for research into the history and science of aviation and spaceflight. Almost all space and aircraft on display are originals or backups to the originals.
