Wow, what a year! We blinked, and we’re already at the end of Term 4.
This year, we sent almost 9,000 students on educational adventures across the globe, hosted our first teacher training trip in Cairns, attended conferences across Australia, and connected with teachers to share the life-changing experiences we create for students.
The impact of our travel programs is incredible. Whether students travel to Canberra to see Parliament in action, go on a ski camp to build friendships and lifelong memories, or experience Europe for the first time with friends, these moments are priceless. Seeing photos of students’ smiling faces on trips we’ve made possible is one of the highlights for our team.
If you’ve travelled with us this year—or are planning to in the future—THANK YOU for choosing WorldStrides. From Operations to Product to Sales & Marketing, every team member contributes to bringing your travel program to life, and we’re passionate about it.
Our most popular destinations this year: Canberra, France and Italy
It’s no surprise that Canberra topped our domestic tours. The abundance of learning opportunities for students, combined with the PACER rebate making travel more affordable, makes it a perfect destination for school groups. Students come away with contextual learning, deepening their understanding of classroom lessons – a key takeaway from any Canberra trip.

For international adventures, Italy and France were the most popular tour destinations for 2025. Students (and teachers!) enjoy endless opportunities to learn – especially in history, language, and the arts – while blending learning, fun, and exploration into unforgettable overseas experiences. They also get to immerse themselves in new cultures and discover new places that are completely different from what they encounter at home.

So what destinations are trending for 2026? No surprises here - Canberra and France/Italy are set to be the crowd favourites once again. Here's to seeing what the new year brings!
