We’re inviting Australian & New Zealand music educators to nominate students that have excelled under their direction to audition for the prestigious Honors Performance Series.
In 2018 the Honors Performance Series will be held at the Sydney Opera House, Australia and Carnegie Hall, New York City. Nominations are open for both locations and welcomes individual vocalists or instrumentalists in Years 9-12.
Each year the Series brings together talented young musicians selected from across the globe to Sydney and New York City where finalists study under master conductors, interact with other accomplished musicians and perform on one of the world’s most renowned stages.
We reached out to finalists, parents and educators on their experience at the Honors Performance Series…
“The series has made an indelible difference in my son’s outlook on music and also broadened his world view. For that, I am deeply grateful” Jamie, Parent
“This amazing experience has been one of the top highlights of my 12 year career in music education” Chris, Music Director
“It’s amazing how so many young musicians can come together and fluently speak the language of music” Ida, Finalist
Nominations for the Honors Performance Series at Sydney Opera House and Carnegie Hall close Friday 1 September, 2017.
Students can be nominated for either one or both locations.
