Alana Hughes

Senior Director of Sales and Marketing

Alana comes to WorldStrides with over a decade of experience in the educational travel industry. Since starting in 2017 as an International Account Manager, she has worked directly with many schools across Australia to provide their students with a life-changing educational tour overseas. Alana now oversees all sales, account management, customer service and marketing initiatives to ensure our customers have the ultimate “WorldStrides Experience” from start to finish and believes quality customer service is key to providing an unforgettable educational experience for both students and teachers.

Alana holds extensive travel knowledge after visiting over 60 countries herself including studying in South America, working in South-East Asia, safariing through Africa, driving a beaten-up car from London to Mongolia, and completed a year-long journey travelling in a van from Alaska to Patagonia. Alana has returned to WorldStrides after a short sabbatical where she completed a Lap of Australia in an off-road camper trailer exploring everywhere from Cape York to the Kimberley and everywhere in between. When she’s not travelling, Alana enjoys hiking, surfing, scuba diving, playing music and spending quality time with her partner and dog.
