It is with a mix of appreciation and sadness that Jim Hall and I announce Matt Huttner’s departure as General Manager of WorldStrides Australia on 13th April 2017.
Matt has been at WorldStrides for 5 years, initially as Vice President and Assistant General Manager in China and more recently as General Manager of our Australian Operation.
Matt has played a critical role in the development and success of the organisation, and while we will miss him and his inspiring leadership we wish him the best of luck in his new endeavour.
We are conducting a search to find the new WorldStrides Australia General Manager. During this period, our UK General Manager Amanda Stuart will be acting in the role in the Melbourne office from early April.
Amanda has a wealth of knowledge of WorldStrides Australia and the education sector. In 2014/2015 she spent 11 months managing the Australian operations and has worked closely with the team over the past three years.
She is passionate about continuing the development of educational travel programs for Australian schools and partnering with them to deliver experiential learning opportunities.
We cannot thank Matt enough for his dedication, enthusiasm and motivation at WorldStrides. We look forward to following his successes in the next phase of his career.
