One of the challenges we often hear from our teachers when organising a school tour is getting the student numbers required to run a tour. When it comes to maximizing your numbers, we can offer a variety of solutions – one of which is creating a cross-curriculum tour.

Here some of our popular cross-curriculum tours…

History & Art: Italy

On the La Bellissima tour, students embark on guided tours of Rome and the Vatican City, uncovering ancient history as they visit the ruins of the Colosseum, the Pantheon and the Roman Forum. Afterwards students are immersed in Renaissance art as they enjoy visits to the galleries, churches and the architectural landmarks of Florence, Venice and Milan.

Science & Geography: New Zealand

New Zealand is the perfect destination for students of Science and Geography.  Where else can students can explore ancient forests, natural hot springs, underwater caves, sand dunes, volcanoes, icy glaciers and breathtaking fjords all in the one place? Students can gain a deeper understanding of New Zealand’s diverse eco environment, experiencing earthquake simulations, monitoring volcanic activity and exploring geothermal reserves.

English Literature & Performing Arts: England

Students can follow in the footsteps of literary greats William Shakespeare, Jane Austen, Charles Dickens and Beatrix Potter (just to name a few!) when they visit their hometowns and dedicated museums across London and the English countryside. Afterwards they can enjoy theatre workshops led by accomplished thespians before taking in a show or two at London’s famed West End Theatre.

Language & Art: Indonesia

On our Best of Indonesia tour, students will not only get to flex their linguistic skills during a series of 3-hour language lessons – they’ll also get to explore Bali and it’s unique art and culture while visiting Yogyakarta, Sanur and Ubud. During their time they’ll visit local art & craft markets, watch cultural dance performances and discover Balinese antiquities and cultural objects at the Bali Museum.
